Community Calendars
Great Start recognizes the importance of community involvement and the value of opportunities for families to learn and grow together. We have created these community calendars as a way to share timely community events with you. If you know of any events please take time to add them to our community calendar or forward the information to gsevents@dsisd.net. Please encourage the agencies and organizations that you partner with to do so as well so we can have a comprehensive one stop shop for early childhood information in our communities.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
April 19 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
FreeMenominee Recreation Department is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at John Henes Park from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public and intended for children ages 4 to 10.
Events include visiting with the Easter Bunny, face painting, crafts, scavenger hunt, Egg Hunt and more! Please note the egg hunt will be held outside, dress appropriately.
The REQUIRED Registration begins March 10th. To register, please, email the Recreation Department at parksandrec@menomineemi.gov with the child’s name, age, phone number or email address. Please include the desired time slot 9 a.m.; 10:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.
The registration deadline is Friday, April 11, 2025.
Space is limited, please register early.
