Community Calendars
Great Start recognizes the importance of community involvement and the value of opportunities for families to learn and grow together. We have created these community calendars as a way to share timely community events with you. If you know of any events please take time to add them to our community calendar or forward the information to gsevents@dsisd.net. Please encourage the agencies and organizations that you partner with to do so as well so we can have a comprehensive one stop shop for early childhood information in our communities.

Escanaba City-Wide Rummage Sale
$30 to enter for the ad will appear in list on the Daily Press and UP Action papers. List your child's lemonade or bakery stand to the map for $5. Gladstone will be held 7/11-7/13. It’s a big weekend for bargain hunters in Escanaba.
Dozens of homes will be taking part in the city-wide Trash To Cash Rummage Sale. It’s an effort to keep things out of the landfill, bring visitors into Escanaba, and maybe you can earn a few dollars, too. The event is also geared toward college students who may need things for their dorm rooms this fall.
The rummage sale will run from 8 until 5 this Friday - Sunday, and the list of homes that will be participating will be available at City Hall later today.
