Burned out? Stressed? Looking for balance? This series is for you!
Journey to Vitality is 3-part self-care series to help you live your very best life RIGHT NOW! Michelle Burkhard, owner of Grow by 1, leads participants through a 7-week self-study incorporating the Strengthening Families Protective Factors framework, ACEs study (Adverse Childhood Experiences) , Strong Families Vitality Domains and resiliency skills that provide the tools needed to balance personal needs with the demands of children, family, work and community. This series was designed for parents, teachers, childcare and service providers of young children to gain important insight to better understand and support the unique needs of families with young children, and discover ways to build strong families and more balanced and fulfilling lives.

Sessions are from 5:30-8:30pm at:
Delta-Schoolcraft ISD 2525 3rd Ave S, Escanaba
Satellite location/live video
Manistique High School Community Room 100 N Cedar St, Manistique

• The series includes dinner for those attending live, either in Escanaba or Manistique.
(A monthly RSVP for live locations is required)
• Participants may also attend remotely via Zoom feed which can be accessed on a smart phone, tablet or computer if you are unable to attend a session in person. Simply go to https://zoom.us/j/964511776 and follow the prompts.
• Materials include Living the Protective Factors Playbook (a 7 week self-study book)
• Childcare stipend is available as well as transportation stipends (for those traveling 30+ miles one way to the site for Delta and Schoolcraft residents).
*Delta and Schoolcraft County parents of children 0-5 years may receive up to $150 stipend for attending ($40 per session with a bonus $30 for completing all three sessions).
