MI Parenting Resource:
Michigan State University Extension is excited to share MI Parenting Resource, a free, online program developed by our partners in MSU’s Department of Human Development and Family Studies. MiParenting Resource offers a collection of videos introducing research-supported strategies for common caregiving concerns, such as how to increase child cooperation, teach children new behaviors, and identify and manage emotions. The videos feature real caregivers who explain and demonstrate the skills with their children.
MI Parenting Resource is a self-paced parent education program. It includes approximately two hours of content and is available at no cost to families in Michigan. A certificate of completion is available for download after finishing the program.
The content of MI Parenting Resource is targeted to caregivers of children ages 4 to 17, but the tools and strategies presented may benefit anyone working with children and families.

There are two versions of this course. Select either the Parents and Families or Professional Caregivers option below, based on your role, to register.
