at the Delta-Schoolcraft ISD. “The Benefits of Massage: Prenatal through
Adulthood” with licensed massage therapists Stacy Lake and Julie
Urbschat. Free dinner and onsite childcare provided by Small Wonder

the number of children and adults attending.
5/17 - 5/19/19 Wag a Tail Rummage Sale State Fairgrounds Miracle of Life
Building 5pm-8pm/8am-2pm. Proceeds benefit Delta Animal Shelter.
Donation drop off 5/5/19 1pm-4pm and 5pm-8pm May 6th and 9th.

5/18/19 Esky Clean-up 10am-noon Escanaba Farmer’s Market. Mark your
calendars to come out and help make downtown beautiful!

5/18/19 Lego Club 10:30am-12pm at the Escanaba Library (Wild Wild
West theme) for children ages 5 and up with caregiver. Bring a gallon
sized zip lock bag of Legos and create together. There is a drawing for a
Lego set at the end of each session. No registration required.

5/18/19 Mid Pen Lego Club 10:30 -11:30am at Mid Peninsula School.
Open to children and their family's who love to create and build together
with Legos! Bring your own Legos. Free and open to the public,
your child does not need to be a student at Mid Pen to attend.
5/18/19 Escanaba Public Library Story Hours The 3rd Saturday of the
month Oct-May,1:30pm in the Children's Library. FREE for children 4 years
and older. No registration is required. Includes stories, crafts, and occasionally
a book-related movie or special guest.
 Toddler Time meets Wednesdays at 10:30am.
 Lapsit for babies meets Fridays 10:30am.

5/23/19 Midsummer Strings 7:30pm-9pm The Midsummer Strings perform
a mixture of all Finnish music ranging from old to new folk tunes from different
areas of Finland in Bay College Besse Theater. Tickets are $10/$5

5/27/19 DeYoung Family Zoo Critter Birthday Bash10am-5pm N5406
County Road 577 Wallace, Michigan. Celebrate all of the animals birthdays
with one BIG Birthday bash. We will give animals special treats, presents,
and a tea party! Face painting, games, bounce house, and more.
Reg admission $10 kids, $12 seniors, $14 adults, 3 and under free.

5/27/19 Rapid River Memorial Day Celebration Run for Joe 5K Rapid River
Lion’s Club. Registration at 7am, begins at 9am. Family activities/BBQ
begin at 10am in Township Park, Parade at 1pm.
5/31 &6/1/19 Krusin Klassic Fun Run & Car Show 2019 Friday: 7pm parade
followed by dance from 9pm-12am at the UP State Fair Grounds. Saturday:
pancake breakfast 7-10:30am, car show/swap meet 8am-12pm,
ladies appreciation luncheon 12pm (1st 175 ladies), 1pm kids tractor pull,
4:30pm trophies with Raffle drawing to follow. $5 kids 12 and under free.
