11/13/21 Escanaba Baseball Craft Show 9am-4pm in the Es-canaba High School Commons. 120+ vendors, raffles, bake sale & 50/50. $2 entry fee Kids 12 and under free.
11/13 & 12/3/21 YMCA Nerf & Turf Night (3rd-6th graders) at the HIT Room, Hannahville Ice & Turf Room, 1647 17.4 Road, Escanaba (inside Wells Sports Complex). The Y provides the space, obstacles, supervision and fun. Kids bring their own NERF gear: guns, bullets (must be Styrofoam with rubber ends), vests and goggles. (3rd-4th grade 5-6:30pm/5th & 6th 6:30-8pm. $8 Members $12 General Public www.nlymca.com
11/13/21 The Wallens 7pm-9pm at The Bonifas Arts Center Studio. Blues for a Cause brings this free concert with the Wal-lens playing a mix of bluegrass, blues, and folk music. No food or beverages will be allowed. Register to reserve a seat for yourself, family and friends at bonifasarts.org.
11/15 & 11/24/21 YMCA Schools Out Fun Days 9am-4pm at the Wells Center. Kids grades K-5 enjoy activities, arts, crafts, and games. Before and after care are available for a small fee. $32 day members /$42 day non. www.nlymca.com
11/17/21 Great Start Parent Coalition Meeting 6pm-7:30pm at the Delta-Schoolctaft ISD and on Zoom. Help make our com-munity the best place for kids to live. Meet new friends and find parenting resources and support. This month Ellen Doan from the Michigan Learning Channel will explain the channel and the wealth of free educational resources available to families. Refreshments and childcare provided. 11/23/21 Thanksgiving Lunch noon-1pm The Salvation Army is providing free Thanksgiving lunches with drive through pick-up only at the Salvation Army Community Center, 3001 5th Ave South.

11/4/21 Behavior Begins in the Brain: Fostering Healthy Social-Emotional Skills in Children 6pm-8:30pm brought by the Great Start Parent Coalitions. Virtual option is still available. Learn practical ways to understand and manage behavior while strengthening relationships. For anyone raising or working with children. 11/4, 11/5 & 11/6/21 Superior Arts Youth Theater presents Dis-ney’s Descendants: The Musical 7pm at Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre. A cast of over 60 youth per-form a musical featuring the beloved characters and hit songs from the films. 1 p.m. sensory-friendly performance Sat-urday Facemasks must be worn, regardless of vaccination status. 11/6/21 Bonifas Art Center Holiday Art Fair 10am to 4pm. Start your holiday shopping early this year by coming to the Holi-day Art Fair at the Bonifas Arts Center. There will be a variety of local artists selling their work,, an art raffle and bake sale. Free to attend. bonifasarts.org
11/8 & 11/9/21 29th Annual Parenting Awareness Michigan Virtual Conference Attendees learn about relevant issues, programs, and resources related to parents and families. This includes two keynote presentations and various workshops. Monday keynote speaker “The Resilience Cascade: Support-ing Children, Families, Organizations and Communities” Tues-day keynote “Raising Drug Free Kids in a Drug Using World” $40/day or $75 for both days Visit www.preventionnetwork.org for details and to register.
