Trick or Treat times
Wednesday October 31, 2018
Escanaba: 5pm-7pm
Gladstone: 5pm-7pm
Other community times to be announced on Facebook when released)
Be safe while trick-or-treating: Costumes should be short
enough that children will not trip, hard plastic or wooden
props should be avoided in favor of items made from foam
rubber. Masks should allow for proper respiration and full peripheral
vision. Children should carry brightly-colored bags and
flashlights or glow sticks. Reflective tape can be added to the
sides, front, and back of costumes for added visibility. Young
trick-or-treaters should always be accompanied by an adult.
Older children should travel in pairs or groups, and notify their
parents of the route they plan to take. Watch for traffic, be
sure to cross the street at crosswalks, and avoid dark houses
and streets. Adults have an important role to play ensuring
that Halloween is safe and fun!
