Community Calendars
Great Start recognizes the importance of community involvement and the value of opportunities for families to learn and grow together. We have created these community calendars as a way to share timely community events with you. If you know of any events please take time to add them to our community calendar or forward the information to gsevents@dsisd.net. Please encourage the agencies and organizations that you partner with to do so as well so we can have a comprehensive one stop shop for early childhood information in our communities.

Lunchtime LIVE!
8/26/25 Lunchtime LIVE! 11:30am-1pm at Bay College Enjoy live
music from Wingin’ It and delicious food on site from the Taco
Kitchen, Grateful Cheese, and Main Squeeze. (Food trucks on site
10am-2pm) A free event open to the public in the courtyard located
between the Catherine Bonifas Building (Building 200) and the
Student Services Building (Building 500) at 2001 N. Lincoln Rd.
Closest parking is available in Parking Lot E off of College Avenue. If
inclement weather occurs, the performances will be moved inside
the Bay Café, located in the Student Services Building.
